Former Employee Overall good experience. The goals can flex up and down depending on how the company is performing. Which means some years will be good in sales and some years can be difficult. Even with good accounts it can be difficult to exceed goal if the company needs save money and boost share price. If you want
Innovation go work for a startup or a FANG. However, there is momentum behind Cisco and it’s business so you will make money as a sales person even if you don’t have the top producing accounts. Work life balance is solid. Moving up in leadership is political but possible, especially If you are willing to move. Generally I had a good experience, but it’s far from perfect.
