Former Employee Overall Eagle Rock was like a family to me and there were a lot of changes and growth opportunities and challenges throughout my tenure working there. I would suggest (and maybe they have since I’ve been employed) a better understanding of how the pay structure works for the On-Premise sales positions. The position is essentially commission only but in the past our accounts sold huge amounts of our main product. So basically whomever had the best territory with the most traffic and highest amount of clubs or restaurants or bars, is who made the most money. It wasn’t really about how hard they worked. For that, I struggled continuing to work there bc the culture was old school and seniority along with relationships were the main effect on your salary. To me, that opened the door for favoritism and not based on quality of work. We tried multiple CRM’s and also six not have the most efficient training so I would change that as well. Lastly, leadership was basically a joke. Your manager never got out and worked with you as they were busy fixing problems with certain accounts. Hopefully they’ve learned how to hire over the years.
