Business Development Lead EMEA
Job Description
Come grow with Supermetrics!
We’re looking for a motivated and inspiring Business Development Lead to lead our team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You’ll play a key role in expanding Supermetrics’ presence across the EMEA region, driving pipeline growth, and developing our next generation of sales talent.
In this role, you will…
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to consistently meet and surpass pipeline and performance targets.
- Set and manage goals for outbound activity, lead generation, and qualified meetings — ensuring measurable growth across key markets.
- Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Leadership, and Marketing to align on territory plans, target accounts, and messaging.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new BDRs, creating a culture of efficiency, accountability, and collaboration.
- Act as a career mentor, preparing top-performing BDRs for promotion into Account Executive roles.
Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include…
- Coach in real time — listening to calls, reviewing emails, and running regular feedback and role-play sessions.
- Optimize the outbound process: continuously test, measure, and improve prospecting tactics, cadences, and conversion rates.
- Use data and insights (CRM, dashboards, reports) to track performance, identify trends, and forecast pipeline.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Enablement, Marketing, and Operations to ensure consistent messaging and seamless handoff to AEs.
This position is for you if you have…
- 4+ years of experience in sales, including at least 1–2 years as an Account Executive.
- Demonstrated skill in consistently hitting or surpassing pipeline generation targets in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of the sales development process, from prospecting to qualification and handoff.
- A motivating leadership style — you exemplify best practices, mentor with statistical insights, and encourage teams to reach their potential.
- Effective abilities in interpersonal communication, organization, and data analysis.
- Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or equivalent).
- Collaboration proficiency: you work adeptly with Account Executives, marketing, and leadership to ensure alignment and combined outcomes.
- A growth mindset — always testing, learning, and improving.
- Fluent English required.
Benefits we offer…
- Compensation package that includes a solid fixed salary along with performance-based incentives
- Equity / stock-option participation
- Modern Apple suite for daily work (MacBook, AirPods)
- Health care and leisure-time insurance (where applicable by location)
- Training & development programs to help you build sales skills, product & industry knowledge
- Sports & Wellbeing Allowance
- Regular social & team events
- A structured career advancement: individuals can move up to Account Executive or take on leadership positions
