How would you assess the effectiveness of the leadership team at Absolute Software in fostering coaching and development within the sales department? Based on your interactions and experiences with the sales leadership, would you recommend joining Absolute Software's sales team?

Leadership is lost. Big talkers, no experience, a lot of empty shirts. Lots of ‘cluster hiring’ aka one guy comes in and then brings all of his former coworkers along from the old company. Coaching and development is poor. No real structured product & process training.

It really depends on the leader you work for. Some are super helpful with coaching and development. Others, not so much.

It’s been a while since I was there, and there has been a lot of change.  However, some really solid leaders remain. I’m still in contact with several people and everyone has been quite positive in leadership and company direction.

Executive leadership as seen on the company website, communicate via monthly virtual to share future perspectives, initiatives, etc. We don't see/hear much from them otherwise. Direct manager leadership and engagement would differ based on vertical focus and specific needs of representatives on their team. However, most meet as a team each week to go over updates, focus areas, etc.
