Current Employee My experience with this company is that they do not appreciate sales professionals. They are run by product and ops professionals, who if they had it their way would automate the sales process and remove reps all together.
The culture here is very difficult as they have mass layoffs every 6 months (4 rounds of layoffs in the last two years) . The leadership is afraid to make decisions about the product, so they often runs many different A-B tests concurrently. When you test this many things out at once it is difficult to tell what is actually working and often results in varying opinions on how to move forward.
The product was a great idea in principle, however does not make sense from a market standpoint. They essentially charge a higher fee for a renovation that is supposed to be more consumer friendly. They have stripped all the add ons that would make this more enticing for a consumer. They are now essentially a lead gen tool for contractors, but refuse to market as such because they don't want to compete/ can't compete with home advisor.
