Former Employee Really poor C-Suite at Blumira. They do not understand GTM at all, especially the sales function, enablement, or compensation. I was a VP of Sales here, and told I could ramp the team to 10 hires (they had 1 AE when I started, as they'd fired several team members). I was able to hire 3 of the 10 they promised, and we completely rebuilt the prospecting, qualifying, and sales stage process. In a year we grew revenue by 167%, pipeline over 400%, and reduced our sales cycle by over 30%.
I was Fired by the CEO who ambushed me with HR in a Friday afternoon meeting, and he told me "That's not enough growth".
The truth is, they didn't want to keep paying me for what I'd built, and the success we were generating. They replaced me with our sales ops leader, and she was costing the business half of what my cost basis was. They spent the next year floundering and didn't even generate $1M in new revenue after I'd taken the past $5M the year before. Run away from Blumira. Don't subject yourself to their toxicity.
