Former Employee Canva as a company seemed liked it would be really fun. If you were not on the sales teams, it probably was really fun!
Our sales systems were extremely flawed and internal roadblocks made it hard to do our jobs. Quota was unachievable and my book of business changed multiple times in the year I was there causing me to have to give away pipeline that I built. Canva is not quite enterprise ready which made it a difficult sell and there are certain leaders who create a very toxic environment to work in. I wanted to love working at Canva because I love the product but sadly I had to quit just before my one year because I wasn’t making the money I was told I would make. The mid market team and EDU teams seem to do very well though.
