Classy laid off 50% of the sales team (xDRs up to Strat ENT AEs and AMs, incl leaders) in Nov 2023. Very hard for new people to make quota in the first year or two. Distribution of leads determined by managers and methods not disclosed. Competitors had features Classy doesn't and Classy's pricing always highest. Refunding and taking new product off of contracts bc it didn't work common on Customer Growth team.

Classy has a lot to figure out. The enterprise team is doing well, but they recently had massive layoffs (80+ sales people across SMB and MM) that included multiple pregnant employees who had declared maternity leave. Severance offerings made no considerations for this.

Overall, I grew substantially as a sales professional due to their really good enablement team. It is a tough sell -- the most expensive in the "nice to have" platform in the space with the # of people giving to NPO's on the decline into a very, very price sensitive buyer. Must work very long hours, work-life balance will largely be at times scarce.
