It’s a challenging time for broadcast TV, and Scripps has its fair share of struggles. They seem to be forward thinking compared to other Broadcast TV groups, but ultimately there are too many hurdles to climb. These struggles affect compensation and earning potential for sales people. Depending on your market, it’s a difficult sell. However, if you’re a senior level AE with a robust list, there is money to be made. The problem is this is the exception and not the rule.

Great culture, family first. You have the ability to work with industries that are of personal interest to you. You’re paid to be creative and not just constant dials. You’re tracked on quality of calls versus quantity. Very flexible work place where you have to be available during business hours by phone, but you can work at times that work best with your life...Read More
