Current Employee I sold cars for the Car Sales division. Your experience is going to vary depending on your manager and dealership location greatly. On average most people sell 8-12 cars which is like $72k a year. And 25% of people sell 13-16 cars which can get you $90-99k for 100k+ you need to sell 17.5-20 cars every month. Very common for people to go on vacation and sell nothing for that month and rely on PTO for their bills. 10 hr days 6 days a week for most.
