Former Employee The training for the role for unexperienced employees involved three textbooks worth of water-treatment information, along with three tests that needed to be completed within the first 6 months, while servicing clients. The other part of training was mentorship for 1 year. However, my mentor quit 8 weeks after I started. I was on my own for 1 year before they hired "back-up". The back-up, a seasoned water-treatment rep, then took the majority of the business and new sales I initiated. Once the back-up was hired, they "promoted" me from apprentice to sales rep, but I ended up getting a pay-cut due to "splitting" the territory. Was expected to build a new book of business to increase my revenue. Travel heavy position with little to no warm/hot leads. Commission structure was good (around 12%), no cap on commissions. Good autonomy too. Browse Other Reviews
