Former Employee Interlake Mecalux didn’t hire me to succeed—they hired me for my Rolodex. Once they drained my industry contacts, I was left with zero support, zero strategy, and zero leadership.
The Spanish-owned company is completely disconnected from the U.S. market. The president has no idea what’s happening stateside, and U.S. management is just as bad—inept, disorganized, and driven by rampant nepotism. Promotions go to friends and family, not performers.
As a salesperson, you’ll be set up to fail. No marketing support, no strategic guidance, and leadership that doesn’t understand the sales process. You’ll be micromanaged on pointless tasks while the big-picture problems are ignored.
This company is stuck in the past and actively pushes out anyone with new ideas or experience. If you bring a valuable network, be warned: they will mine it, use you, and toss you aside.
If you’re a driven sales pro looking to grow your career—run. This isn’t a place for builders, closers, or leaders. It’s a graveyard for potential.
