Former Employee While I worked there, ION Solar was really not the best company for its employees or its customers. In ways, it feels like a pyramid scheme that focuses on training people to recruit anybody that doesn’t qualify so that you can make a tiny amount off of them. They hardly do any valuable training, prevent appointment setters to be able to truly learn and grow, and pay them very poorly. We’re bringing in on average 60K per deal, and getting paid $400+ per sale, while unknowingly charging the customers nearly double the price for the same equipment as other companies. Plus, they are dishonest to employees claiming they have the best panels, and claim they manufacture the panels themselves when they outsource them from other companies. In addition, management gets paid a ton of money off of everyone’s sales and is hardly ever there to answer questions when needed. Would not recommend unless serious changes have been made with ION.
