My overall experience here was positive. They reward their top sales reps with a President's club and they have pretty good systems and processes. I enjoyed the people I worked with. The commission plan was pretty good, but they are always making small adjustments to it every year which can affect your pay.

Incentive compensation structure lacked clarity. There were some opportunities for commission accelerators/kickers, but the entire structure was very difficult to track and manage. Each quarter, it took multiple days to clarify and fight for your incentive pay.

KONE is a solid global company overall. I didn't enjoy my role in sales as there wasn't any support staff. Which means as a "salesperson" you are also a full-time project manager among other roles. If you go on vacation for a week, you'll need two weeks to catch up because there is nobody covering your work.
