Former Employee My overall experience as an Account Executive for MFG was mediocre at best.
Pros:
1. The company hires a fully remote staff. So if you don't have interest going into the office then that is beneficial.
2. There is room for growth. I started as an SDR with this company and after 6 months became an AE (Account Executive).
3. Management was very interested in fostering new ideas to try and make better changes. (Whether they implemented those changes is a different story)
Cons:
1. Due to heavy pressure from management we were setup with false expectations about commission obtainment. So, if you did not meet the quota there were "decelerators" which negatively impacted the value of your commission.
2. This product was difficult to sell for a variety of reasons.
To sum it up it worked for about 30% of the customers in terms of them getting an ROI.
3. The base salary for this role was fairly low compared to other AE roles.
