They expect you to be a top salesperson for minimum wage. You push memberships all day, hit your goals, and still take home the same $9 an hour. No bonus, no commission, just more pressure. Honestly, it makes you feel undervalued and burned out pretty quickly.

Selling memberships at Planet Fitness is rough. You’re expected to hit sales goals without any commission or bonus—it’s just $9 an hour. Management pushes upselling hard, but there's no real reward for the effort. It’s demotivating to work hard bringing in new members and get nothing extra for it.
