Slack pre-Salesforce integration was amazing. Reps were hitting, enablement was solid, and culture was amazing (best I've ever seen). Everything slowly started going downhill as more of the company was integrated with Salesforce post-acquisition, but Slack was completely swallowed up at the start of 2023. Existing automated processes were taken away and replaced by antiquated, manual ones; we were forced to migrate to Salesforce's instance of Sales Cloud, which is by far the WORST managed CRM I've ever seen (laughable because it's Salesforce's own tool...). There is no enablement, resources are scattered, and the company still doesn't have a Greenfield sales motion. Attrition is at an all-time high and I anticipate more and more OG Slack folks to jump ship (if they haven't already, they're thinking about it). Management has been fully infiltrated by Salesforce transfers who don't understand the Slack sales process, product, or customer. It's hard to just mentally check out and go through the motions because it's hard to even pull a simple Salesforce report. Very very frustrating experience.
