A word to summarize my overall experience would be “Profitable.” The elevator industry is very lucrative, especially with a large known company such as TK Elevator. Many offices are structured differently due to size, but if you are able to join a small office, in a relatively smaller city, there are many opportunities to learn and gain knowledge on all sides of the business.

Great learning experience in the sense that you get to manage the ENTIRE sales cycle, however, very poor track record of developing talent. Sales Organization is extremely flat with limited opportunities to advance. Commission structure can be somewhat limited by your market since awards are primarily price driven.

Positive. Enjoyed my time there. I was able to consistently hit goal and make good money. Plenty of growth opportunities and training. A lot of good people at the local level. The company is going through a transition and will return stronger. Ultimately I was ready for a change.
