Tulip is a fantastic company with a ton of very smart people. They are purposely keeping the business lean in the spirit of hiring the right people and being attractive for the next round of funding. This is actually hurting the business, as lead times for professional services engagements are getting longer and longer. Upward mobility is also limited due to the fact we aren't hiring that much.

It is a highly niche market where Tulip fits. They are for discrete manufacturers, who have highly complicated problems they need to fix. If they already invested in S4Hana or a similar system then they are $1M plus in that investment. Getting them to change or try anything new within the first 5 years of that investment is extremely challenging especially if they're...Read More
