What is the sales culture like at Accuris? I know they are trying to revamp the company with the PR firm now involved. Are things going well? How are people achieving against their goals?

In short: the sales culture at Accuris is… mid-pivot, mid-confusion, mid-sentence.

There’s a recurring comedy in treating Enterprise Account Managers like SaaS Mid-Market Sales Reps, then acting surprised when they don’t measure success in weekly pipeline sprints. Many of us are long-cycle, high-touch, multi-stakeholder sellers —now being coached as if we’re selling seat licences off a webinar. The disconnect is exquisite.

Support infrastructure varies by time zone and whim. In some territories, EAMs are the entire GTM stack: hunting, closing, onboarding, renewing, firefighting, and occasionally rewriting the deck to match what was promised on a website hallucinated by ChatGPT. Sales Enablement and Marketing, bless them, seem to operate in a parallel universe —where products are optional and personas are theoretical.

The highlight? A recent all-hands where a new marketing lead used the Gartner Magic Quadrant to explain how we’re positioning alongside Siemens, PTC, and Dassault. One can only assume it was metaphorical. Or medicinal.

So yes —plenty of activity across the funnel. Whether it maps to meaningful progression or actual quota attainment? That’s a slower burn. But there are experienced EAMs quietly doing the job between the PowerPoints, usually while re-educating both the client and the internal org.
