Lots to change. Consumtion bases so if you close a deal they have to consume. Not paid on bookings so that makes it difficult when thinking about what your comp looks like.

My overall experience was good. Aiven is a startup with a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. The base pay and incentive plan was solid. Unfortunately, the company underwent a "reduction in force' whereas my role was impacted.

The only issue I have is with how some of the management can be. In some cases they will have very conflicting/contradicting opinions when looking at the data. KPI's matter much more then hitting or over attaining your number.
