Current Employee I worked in sales at Britannica and honestly, I still don’t know if it was a real job or some kind of long psychological experiment. Frankly i still have nightmares.
The “training” was basically: here’s a vague script, figure it out.
Compensation was theoretically competitive “if you performed.” Translation: base pay was barely enough to keep my Wi-Fi running and commissions were like chasing a unicorn through a swamp—technically possible, but not for a normal human. Im not sure if they ever fully realized the product, last i heard it was in delta development. Is delta even a thing?
