However, the change in management was a major setback, as the new manager proved to be a disaster who actively destroyed the positive work and structure that was previously established.
It's a relief the problematic manager was fired, but the damage to the work environment was significant enough that it also prompted your departure. This suggests that while the company's fundamentals and initial culture were strong, the quality of management had a drastic, short-term negative impact on employee experience and progress.
