Former Employee Banking is a cyclical business so ups and downs in incentive comp are to be expected. That said, it is frustrating to beat your goal by 2x and be given a terrible bonus. The most frustrating thing is that there is no commission paid for most roles; only a discretionary year end bonus. Leadership reinvents the wheel every few years via org changes that create stress and chaos. If you can get into leadership's inner circle you will be well taken care of. Overall not a terrible place to kick up your feet, collect a solid base and work 20 hrs a week. Just not what I was looking for.
