The pay is terrible, not even close to being worth the stress they pile on you. The pressure to hit completely unrealistic targets is relentless, and when you inevitably fall short, you’re treated like garbage. It’s impossible to succeed when the goalposts are constantly moving, and the obligations change every other week with zero clear direction.And don’t even get me started on the systems. They’re still running on outdated platforms from the early 2000s, and everyone relies on spreadsheets for everything. It’s like stepping back in time, but somehow worse because you’re expected to perform at a modern pace.

Imagine a bin truck - except it’s on fire. Now imagine there’s a deranged toddler behind the wheel hopped up on skittles & bad intentions with the accelerator to the floor. Now put that burning inferno bin truck driving through a fireworks warehouse.

My overall experience in my tenure with LKQ Corp. was decent. The beginning base salary was enough to live on, and the commission can put you ahead of the pack if you can land the big clients and keep them in your pocket.
