Current Employee Promotions are emphasized from within. As an individual who was early in my career when I joined, I appreciated the autonomy and potential growth options available. Sales Engineering is highly valued at this company. Due to it's size, when you work at Star you end up wearing many hats and learning a lot from different departments. This exposes you to the many facets of a SaaS company to help drive your overall career goals. There aren't much onboarding/training resources available to a new joiner which makes it difficult, and at times, confusing for new hires. Because of it's size, there is an emphasis on growth but it lacks the maturity to keep up with the pressures to expand. R&D has a hard time keeping up with this initiative to grow.
