Current Employee My experience at Trustmi was nothing short of miserable. The company has gone through turmoil, firing the first VP of Sales and their entire team simply for not agreeing with the CEO. This pattern continued with the dismissal of 70% of the second sales team, including key roles like sales engineers and the VP of Marketing.
The product itself has poor market fit; it’s a solution that accounts payable departments already manage without tech. The CEO’s narcissistic behavior creates a toxic environment. He often hijacks sales deals, bullies procurement, and changes prices daily, which leads to chaos.
To make matters worse, he manipulates CRM data to mislead the board about sales performance. Promises of Series B funding a year ago never materialized due to his failures and lack of leadership.
If you value your career and mental health, stay away from Trustmi. It’s a sinking ship with no hope of recovery.
