Corporate structure is disorganized and difficult to navigate. Zeiss prides itself on being an easy company for customers to do business with but this is far from reality. Despite brand recognition and loyalty Zeiss is railing from economic downturn in Germany and the tariffs from Germany and the EU to the USA. Currently short staffed to employee departures and a hiring freeze.

In manufacturing quality assurance is important. Zeiss sets the standard for contact, non-contact, and X-Ray/CT part inspection applications. Zeiss has been in business for 175 years. It's a sold company to work for with a host of opportunities for advancement and revenue generation.
