considering taking an offer at verkada for the aae program (an accelerated bar/sdr role with the opportunity to interview for AE position after 6 months). does anyone have feedback on verkada or making this first step as someone who wants to pursue a career in sales

Not sure, but you might get better results posting a question on the Verkada page.

I’m currently an AE at Verkada and have been here for 3 years. I recommend the AAE program for anyone looking to break into sales. It’s a grind but will get you into an AE role faster than most companies. After that, it’s a shit show and all territory dependent but the point is for you to get into that AE role and use that to go to a better company. You won’t have a lifelong career here but just look at it as a stepping stone.

Don't recommend Verkada, I work with one of their offices as a channel partner. I speak with a lot of managers and some directors Do not recommend. Try samsara instead Verkada is a boiler room and the territory you get as an AE will 100% determine your quota attainment. If you do go, be sure it's a SLED territory once you get the promo

I would steer away from them, leadership is not transparent, I’ve known a few reps that work, worked there and also at meraki
