Does anyone know of someone who left another sales industry and entered tech sales as an AE? Currently in my 30s and not looking to take that big of a step back financially (not that I wouldn’t). I have 2 years of med device sales and worked in healthcare previously. Would appreciate any insight/advice. Thanks everyone!
I realize how my post was purely worded lol. I’m also located in an area where there aren’t really any SDR/BDR jobs unless I were to go to a remote role, which seem harder and harder to find lately. Was really just curious if that was something people have seen happen. I know if anything it would have to be an SMB AE role. Really just looking to see what people have seen at their prospective companies.

Best bet would be to explore SDR roles to get foot in the door. I had 3 years of recruiting experience then went into SDR worked up to AE then Account management
