Should I jump to external AE role which is full sales cycle? I have 6 months of BDR experience

my quota attainment has been 95-107% average. my main reason for switching is bcuz quota attainment across the team at my current company is 15% and they've raised the quota too high for a reasonable expectation for me to be able to internally grow into AE role.

Have you been offered the job? Do they offer training to new AEs? What’s your potential new manager like? What’s attainment like? If I was satisfied to the answers of these questions, I’d go for it

Different company I'm assuming? What's your quota attainment rate as BDR and what is expected as AE? How much have you learnt from the AE's you worked with? Off the surface sounds like you don't have enough experience but more context is needed.
