Who we are 

Freshlane is a well-funded start-up dedicated to bringing the exciting concept of dark kitchens to one of the food capitals of Asia. The concept of dark kitchens has been sweeping across the restaurant industry globally for the past 5 years, and this has only been further accelerated by the global health challenges we all face today. Freshlane will provide a strong alternative to restaurateurs for trying new dining ideas, as well as expanding and supporting their existing restaurant operations.

 

As a Business Development Executive, you will be joining an ambitious sales team with the goal of becoming the leading dark kitchen provider in Hong Kong. You will be fully responsible for managing the end-to-end sales cycle for Freshlane Hong Kong. Your responsibilities will include everything from pitching the product in both a physical and digital environment to negotiating the contract and finally closing the deal.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of the commercial process from the site tour onwards until the final closing of the deal for our inbound leads.
  • Efficiently and intelligently generate outbound interest through both inside and outside sales methods.
  • Maintain quality data entry in CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on potential sales opportunities and notes based on the latest status.
  • Be well-versed and knowledgeable on the company's value propositions, articulate and answer questions about opportunities.
  • Complete a high volume of daily site tours, follow-up communication through different channels, and other meetings.
  • Work closely with our Sales Development Representative team and Sales Manager to generate leads and close deals.

 

What we’re looking for

  • 2-5 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management.
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to final closing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hungry, inquisitive, open-minded, and comfortable in an ever-growing environment.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and English required.
  • Strong, disciplined work ethic - hard working, inner drive to hit targets, and self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to evaluate and assess a problem, troubleshoot, and tap into the necessary resources to get to the best solution.
  • Customer-centric - empathetic to customer needs, strong listening skills, and effectively communicates to ensure expectations are being met.
  • Resilient mentality - demonstrate an ability to perform while faced with the challenges of launching a new idea and a start-up in the market.
  • Knowledge or experience within the hospitality, real estate, eCommerce, food delivery, F&B, or Technology space will be advantageous.
