ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Our Sales Team Members are the first voice of the company when couples reach out to Simply Eloped and will guide our couples through their booking and elopement process right up until they say “I do”. The aim of this role is to ensure that the customer experience from beginning to end feels personalized, attentive, friendly and committed. 


RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Make a high volume of sales calls on a daily basis (inbound leads only)
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly revenue and unit quotas as well as daily activity expectations
  • Successfully manage a sales pipeline from start to finish
  • Communicate clearly and articulately with in-bound leads prospecting Simply Eloped for their wedding ceremony over the phone, email and text messages
  • Work towards KPIs for SQL and customer conversion rates
  • Answer all lead correspondence in timely and professional manner
  • Have an understanding of how to soft sell to in-bound leads
  • Be a team-player and help out in times of high volume
  • Have an adaptable attitude in learning new systems & technologies
  • Be an ambassador and representative of the Simply Eloped business and The Knot Worldwide
  • Build and maintain strong rapport over the phone with potential clients to uncover prospect needs and give a strong, crisp and on-point presentation over the phone 
  • Be persistent - consistently follow up with potential clients to close sales
  • Educate potential clients on the value of Simply Eloped and how our company will streamline the process of planning a high-quality, personalized, and cost-conscious ceremony
  • Be inquisitive, confident and know how to ask great questions to uncover the prospects needs
  • Work closely and align with our Marketing and Product Teams on promotions, talking points, and value props

SUCCESSFUL SALES TEAM CANDIDATES HAVE:
  • 1-2 years sales experience (preferably in B2C sales)
  • Past experience in high-volume online/digital sales
  • Outbound and inbound phone sales a plus (no cold calling)
  • Must have ability to work in remote environment and actively self-manage
  • Attention to detail paramount
  • Must be comfortable with learning new technologies
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Proven track record of closing new accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent grammar
  • Accurately type and respond to a Customer on the phone at the same time
  • Comfortable handling difficult clients or situations, keeping calm
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Hubspot, G Suite, etc) and the ability to learn new systems quickly

WORK MODEL:

  • This role requires the candidate to work weekends. Your working week will be Saturday and Sunday plus 3 days Monday to Friday.

This role is fully remote and not tied to any specific office location. While there are no regular in-office requirements, we encourage our remote team members to gather intentionally for key company and team events to stay connected and engaged.
