Every division is different, for most of industrial, and Consumer, it is very hands off after completely onboarded, reach out when you need and sync once week, formally once a month to make sure you are fulfilling your duty and don’t need any additional support.

It is different for every business unit and each geographic region. I can only speak for the wound vac division, which was formerly KCI, and only in the Southeast region, they had GPS tracking on rep's company phones, very micro-managing directors, for example random calls during the workday asking exactly where you are, if you are driving, asked what road and which exit number.  Also, I had a friend who made President's club & won the trip which was scheduled out about 4 months, and while he was waiting for the trip, his numbers in one (1) category dipped below quota for 1 quarter, although his total weighted quota was good. Our director put him on a PIP, and told him that if he goes on the trip, he wouldn't have a job wen he returned.
