Former Employee I was working for an ADT distributor doing door to door sales. The work was extremely brutal to even make basic sales. The absolute worst sales model is knocking doors. I didn't know that then, but I certainly learned. Pay was good for each sale, it was getting the sales and meeting goals that was the problem. Don't bother knocking doors for any product like this unless you like beating yourself up for nothing.
