Founders excel as technical conversations but struggle to run a stable company that appeals to mass market. 2021 Apollo had a game changing product and was exploding in growth. The product has not fundamentally changed since then. Yes, the product has gotten better and included more features. But it never reached further than its initial goal of federation.

Apollo is built on open-source. Only large organizations (F500) who have made the strategic decision to adopt GraphQL technology broadly and have run into challenges with scaling/securing/implementing graphbenefit from Apollo's enterprise platform
