My experience at Vestis was disappointing, especially considering the potential the company seemed to have. As an Account Executive, the role should focus on relationship-building and closing deals, but it's instead driven by unrealistic metrics like 90 calls in three hours and collecting 25 business cards daily expectations that are often unachievable depending on territory and actual prospect engagement. Onboarding was disorganized, and management lacked experience, with most leaders having been there under six months. Support was minimal, and requests for help were often ignored. You're expected to begin selling immediately, even while still in training. Salesforce a critical tool was the lowest-tier version, with frequent issues in logging calls or accessing data, making it hard to meet tightly monitored KPIs. Sales goals also didn’t align with market realities. Selling $100/week in recurring revenue is difficult for most small businesses who don't need that level of service. Ethical concerns arose as well reps were told to refer to contracts as “service agreements,” with customers often unknowingly locked into long-term commitments. Unless you're in a tough spot and need a paycheck, I would approach this company with caution. There’s potential, but serious leadership, structural, and ethical changes are needed.
