The team was fantastic and I would definitely work with them at any other org. The problem is with leadership. It's probably due to them not being experienced enough to know how to run an effective GTM motion. The AI technology being sold was always in question by the customers and internally. If they stuck to being an outsourced bookkeeping services they'd keep the ship afloat. Trying to be a SaaS company is not going to bode well. It's a sinking ship.

Botkeeper is led by a great management team and has a product that helps solve a real problem. Selling into the accounting space can be brutal because of the seasonality but someone with the right territory can make good money and be happy. With a bad territory they will be lucky to close 10 deals in a year

My overall experience was a roller coaster. The market fit and product continually changed. And the team kept dissolving each year.
