Current Employee Over the past year, this company has decided to change a few things all which are deducting a sales reps compensation. Changing commission from 10% to 7% for "more support" but it is not true. Changing bonus structure by increasing the baseline bonus and decreasing what the bonus is. Giving a base increase but then taking away commission so there is no increase. Good company if you are looking to learn the most basic sales skills - cold calling and running a meeting. After that, no good. Not enough room to earn a lot of money as a great sales rep. Tech sales you should easily have the opportunity to hit >$300k annual and a really great year should be >$500k.
