It was ok. The market is saturated and you're often selling your own products against dealers in a price driven market. Expect 3 to 4 years of pure prospecting regardless of existing equipment in field.

Training is minimal to none. They give you tons of videos to watch during your ramp up period but since it's not taught in an engaging way, nobody actually pays attention to the content. CSA seems to be a good company moving forward. But as BDR just expect to never grow and to severely underpaid. Unfortunately this is just a good starting point and nothing else. Do not expect to be promoted to AE because it simply won’t happen. They also laid off 95% of the BDR dept randomly not sure if there will ever bring it back the same way it was.

Canon is a great company to represent with a diverse product offering and strong brand awareness & market cap. The base comp is meager, but that's standard for the copier sales market. The total comp earned can be very rewarding with a strong account assignment. They are by far the best sales company to work for in the print industry.
