Current Employee Cisco is a very friendly, polite company. They’re also living in the past. While they aspire to be a software company, and have made positive executive changes in this direction. They have not corrected or changed old systems, legal, and finance practices. This makes life challenging for any role that is software focused or more nuanced. Lots of painful internal selling before anything can get done.
