Current Employee Being a portfolio AM at Cisco is a good place to work. There are a lot of things that are frustrating with leadership and your extended resources, but you have a large portfolio and a lot to sell. The biggest drawbacks are that they seem to be focusing a lot more on enterprise customers and reducing resources in the mid market/SMB space, leadership not really caring about you or your customers and just wanting you to hit your number, and then general laziness. There are many people who do not work hard and just collect a paycheck and that makes it very challenging in certain situations. But the grass is certainly not greener everywhere else and it’s still a good company with good pay and benefits.
