Former Employee A company that identifies as a "start-up" but treats you like a pawn in a 2,000 person company. That is because you are!
Leadership for the sales team relies on heavy outbounding metrics, high-pressure sales, and a shark like mentality. Which is totally fine, however, unfortunately, you are selling to small mom/pop shops that are using their hard-earned money. The fact is, a CloudKitchen has a far higher failure rate than a regular brick-and-mortar and so it is clear that you are essentially ruining lives for a living. Every operator in their facility is miserable. Every employee there is miserable. You will be run ragged and it will come to a point where you have to decide if you are going to over promise, or, find that "perfect fit" that just isn't out there enough for you to hit your quota.
I do not blame you if you need the money, do what you have to do, but, CK is not a place if you want to build a career. Even tenured reps over 3 years are PIP'd if they don't meet metrics after 2 years.
Go somewhere else!
