My overall experience was unique in the sense that the organization was a small UK-based startup trying to earn market share in North America. Through a couple organizational changes and M&A acquisitions, a larger firm emerged, but teams and departments were loosely structured and governed. As a result, I spent a few years in a highly-disorganized company that was trying to find their identity and market approach.

Lots of finger-pointing and an overall negativity culture. The pay was terrible but expectations were of course through the roof. Marketing was non-existent and what few leads came in were trash.
