Former Employee This company used to be a good place to work. I actually enjoyed coming in everyday. Now the culture has been eaten alive by micromanagement and leadership that will not invest in their sales team. Pay for BDRs and AEs is below market, and the CEO has openly said he is not sure where the company will be in five years.
Sales is treated like an afterthought here. Leadership looks for ways to cut budgets and squeeze more out of the team with less support.
BDRs are not even doing real selling anymore, and every move is tracked down to the minute.
The BDR team and the entire sales org seriously need a reality check. If you take a role here, treat it as a short stop to gain experience and then move on to a healthier, more competent environment. Just do not tell them when you have something else lined up, because they will force you out early to feel like they got the last word. They really are that petty, and want you to act like it’s the place you will work at till you die, even though there is no 401K.
