This industry thinks it can just consume people endlessly. They don't take care of anyone, or reward you for success. You can't build anything up, or they'll cut you down. They give you a territory then cut it and change things around after you build it up. They do this over and over and over. The old timers warned me and I should've listened now I've seen it for myself several times.

With 4 years of experience in the Orlando market. The pay structure could be better. Out 4 other wine distribution companies, I would rank JBL last in compensation, 2nd in portfolio, and last in incentives opportunities.

My experience with Johnson Brothers in sales was overall okay. The process was fairly straightforward, and while everything was handled professionally, it didn’t necessarily stand out compared to other sales experiences I’ve had. Communication was decent and expectations were met, but nothing beyond that.

Little to no training or development. High turnover. Customers have to buy from you which helps keep a high floor for commission, but the amount of stores on your route is fixed which keeps the ceiling low. Horrible culture.
