Good for learning how consulting and deal cycles work. Leadership is underwhelming but paid much higher than those doing the work. Hard to progress in role & salary.

Audit Associate, Audit Senior Associate Worked on private audits of RE/PE VC firms comp is meh, and promotion structure is linear through senior manager. Great if you love audit, not great if you don't enjoy accounting.

Overall positive but the middle management could be difficult to work with and not all promoted managers were fit for their new role even if they were great in prior role.

Good experience post grad to get familiar with working with higher level people. The grow opportunity is shallow but you can pivot to other parts of the firm if you network enough.
