While Adobe improved UX for Commerce and is now going to SaaS, the messaging/marketing and reception has not been great from a demand gen for net new or from those on prem or PaaS to make the move. It doesn't seem that Commerce is a priority for Adobe when it comes to their Content Supply Chain vision.

Still by far the most capable digital experience managment platform on the market. Challenges boil down to lower cost cloud native providers with less complete functionality being able to address enough of the client challenges in order to justify their cost basis.
