What is the culture like within the sales department at Medasource?

Big drinking culture. Lots of happy hours etc. Most of the sales team is younger than 26 so it's a lot of peoples first or second job.  The actual sales role has relatively low KPIs but they're getting stricter about enforcing them.

One thing that stands out is the strong camaraderie among team members. There is a big a social side, and it's true that there's quite a bit of a drinking culture at Medasource. It's often seen as a way for the team to build close bonds and relationships. However, I can't stress enough how essential it is to maintain a balance between work and personal life as you can really quickly fall into living your full life surrounding work. And not that its supported - but its definitely not disapproved of.

What I've found particularly valuable is the sense of camaraderie. It creates a supportive and enjoyable work environment, even during challenging times when your numbers and commission aren't at that peak they preach to you. Building close friendships with colleagues has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my time here. These relationships add to the overall job satisfaction.

That said, the company places a strong emphasis on supporting personal growth, which is something I appreciate. Medasource also promotes a "go-getter" culture, where we're encouraged to be proactive and driven in our sales roles.
