Former Employee Payability presents itself as a fast-paced startup with growth potential, but the reality is far different. As a SDR/BDR, you’re expected to make thousands of dials daily to “Amazon sellers” but all of the leads aren’t even valid. The product is difficult to pitch, and reps are encouraged to mislead prospects by implying they’re calling from “Amazon” just to keep them on the line.
The management culture is toxic and unsupportive. Leadership/CEO regularly asks for feedback but reacts defensively during team meetings when it’s given. The VP of Sales is highly micromanaging and often talks down to team members or behind their backs. They hire people on 30-day contracts, dangle the idea of full time employment with benefits, and then find reasons not to convert anyone blaming performance when it’s really about cutting costs.
Several people either quit or were let go in my short time there. The expectations are unrealistic (like 5+ hours of dial time daily, 90 min talk time), the training is inadequate, and there’s no real path for growth. Don’t be fooled by the flashy pitch this company has serious internal issues and very little regard for its employees. Proceed with caution!!!!!!! Browse Other Reviews
